Change In Middle School Transportation

By Jean Logan

Printable Flyer

Ensuring that students are safe arriving at school and leaving from school is one of our priorities at Constantine Middle School. It has become very apparent through discussions with parents, bus drivers, the transportation supervisor, the maintenance supervisor, and the superintendent that the current traffic flow around the Middle School is not a safe situation – nor is it efficient.

Therefore, beginning on Monday, November 2, we will implement our new
traffic pattern.
Funny enough, it looks somewhat like what we did in the old
days with a few improvements.

“The Plan”

PARENT PICK-UP/DROP-OFF – Beginning Monday, November 2, parents may drop off and pick up their students in the current bus loop (next to staff parking/Sweetland Stadium). This will also allow parents who have students at the high school and Riverside easier in/out access to Falcon Drive.

BUS RIDERS -- Busses will begin dropping off and picking up students for bus transportation between the Old Middle School and the new Middle School on Monday, November 2. PLEASE NOTE: The entrance and exit to parking in the area between those buildings will switch. The entrance will become the south drive (next to the baseball field) and the exit will become the north drive (next to the Alternative Ed building).

We hope these changes make it safer and more convenient for the many, many people who transport student to our building each day. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Jean Logan, Middle School Principal, at 435-8940; Chuck Frisbie, superintendent, at 435-8900; or Rhonda King, transportation supervisor, at 435-8970.
