This spring, 40 third, fourth and fifth grade girls participated in the "Girls on the Run" program at Riverside. This program teaches girls about self-esteem, physical fitness and about making good choices in life. The girls met twice weekly after school, culminating with a 5K fun run at the St. Joe County Fairgrounds in Centreville. The "Girls on the Run" team was coached by Tammie Forfinski, Ursula Bernhardt, Brenda Bell, Nancy Hill, Judy Elliott and Chris Barnes.

"Girls on the Run" is so much fun!!!
