The Constantine High School Snowfest Court had fun and made memories

During the Constantine High School Varsity boy’s basketball game, the audience waited impatiently for the snowfest court to arrive during half time.

The purpose of the exciting evening was the crowning of the Snowfest King and Queen. Among the five senior girl court representatives, Constantine High School chose Kayla Goldsmith, 17, who will attend Western Michigan to become an elementary teacher.

Chelsea Witek, 17, a court representative, wore a sparkling strapless lime green dress, with her hair up and a white flower. Chelsea wants to attend Vogue School of Beauty Culture to become a Cosmetologist. Chelsea stated, “It was really fun when we were getting pictures taken because we were doing a bunch of crazy photo shoots and just having fun.”

Another court representative was Emily Dentler, 17. She was very school spirited; she wore a white sparkly spaghetti strap dress, with red shoes and a red flower in her up do. Emily is attending University of Michigan to become a Biomedical Engineer. Emily said, “It was really fun because I got to dress up and be girly and the dance was fun because all my friends were there.” She also said, “I thought I wouldn’t get on the court because I’ve never been on it, and I didn’t think people would vote for me.”

Amber Bates, 18, another representative, wore a yellow halter topped dress and her hair up with yellow flowers. She’s attending Baker College to become a Correctional Officer. Amber said, “I loved getting my hair done, but as far as putting on a dress….. It wasn’t for me.”

The fourth representative was Mary Fox, 17. She wore a blue sparkly spaghetti strap dress. She wore her hair up and her bangs down. Mary stated, “I had a lot of fun because I know everyone got pictures of me. Dressing up and being with my friends was really fun.” Mary plans to attend Southwestern to become a nurse. She also said, “I didn’t think people would even consider me to be on the court because I didn’t even consider myself.”

All the girls had a wonderful time, and would love to do it again. Many fans said they all looked amazing and congratulated all of them.
