Cedar Point, a famous amusement park, located in Sandusky, Ohio, is celebrating its’ grand reopening on May 6, 2006 for the entire public to enjoy.

From the millions of guests that attend the park each and every year, no one ever leaves without a big smile spread across their face.

Cedar Point features some of the tallest and fastest rollercoasters across the world.  It has more rides than any other place on the planet.  With 68 rides in all, Cedar Point is home to 16 rollercoasters.  Also, with a gigantic waterpark, Cedar Point was voted one of the best attended seasonal amusement parks in the country.  Some other things that Cedar Point has to offer are award- winning live entertainment, delicious food, and spooky HalloWeekends!

Stephanie Loucks, senior, said, “The thing that I love about Cedar Point is riding the rollercoasters.”

Megan Niblock, junior, said, “Not only do I like the rides, but I also like to see all the “Hot Guys”.

Kelly Knauss and Kate Outman both agreed that the food was wonderful.  “The dippin’ dots are great,” stated Kelly Knauss.

Until the reopening takes place, we will all be waiting.
